London Aviation Museum
A full-stack Laravel 11 museum website for the 427 Wing RCAF Association in London, Ontario, commemorating BCATP airmen from WWII.
Built as a Final Integrated Project for the 427 Wing RCAF Association, the site is a digital museum experience featuring a searchable Book of Remembrance with 238 pilot records, a dynamic events system, social post management, and a Vue 3 newsletter signup.
The association needed a modern web presence for their museum — housed in the last surviving 1943 BCATP airmen canteen — with a permanent exhibition opening planned for fall 2026. The challenge was building something historically respectful and fully manageable by non-technical staff.
Built with Laravel 11 MVC, Eloquent ORM, Blade templating, and route model binding. Integrated Vue 3 for the newsletter component, GSAP for scroll-driven animations on the wartime timeline, and a complete admin panel with CRUD for events and social posts secured by session-based bcrypt auth.
